At Decorex this October, Ceramakka will launch the Serenity Series, a new body of sculptural work created with the intention of transforming expansive walls into immersive expressions of calm and contemplation. Individual sculptures can be progressively added, allowing each installation to evolve and respond to the scale and architecture of its setting. Designed to be mounted directly onto the wall, the individual forms come together as a coherent composition, creating a distinctive sculptural feature for luxury interiors. Each bespoke composition is developed in response to the client’s vision, specifications and architectural setting.

Alongside this, we will also be exhibiting a selection from a new collection of  board-mounted ceramic wall sculptures, which provide an alternative, defined and flexible means of displaying work.

Inspired by the restorative practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing), the pieces are designed to promote wellness in luxury residential and hospitality environments by emphasising organic forms, as well as the interplay of light and shadow on tactile surfaces, creating a mindful connection to space.

Sustainability is enhanced using single firings, multi-stage hand sanding finishing techniques and the reuse and recycling of armature materials. The resulting unglazed works provide contemplative, transformative focal points, whilst celebrating the natural grounding beauty of the ceramic material. Ceramakka sits at the intersection of contemporary craft, biophilic design, and interior architecture.
